Is passme2-z the same as "passme2-z mini" listed in http://qrayzie.gbatemp.net/reviews/nopass-20060724.pdf?

Was reading http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=33429

was testing it with G6lite and M3 MiniSD, doesn't work... cos wanna accertain whether if it is still working as my friend opened it up! (He wanted to flash his old ds phat, but had to know the game inside it as he was using supercardSD.. not sure the details...)

now i realise if i insert the cart into the ds lite without any memory kit, it won't boot. just show white screen.. is it suppose to be like that? or its not...?

or am i just being silly?

hey guys i have been reading that for ez4-lite to work with passme2-z, i need to have the correct matching sav file of the ROM in the passme to be written to the sram of the ez4-lite. Mine was a 2nd hand set thus things were nicely setup.

I proceed to write a different sav file to the sram following this wiki (http://www.sosuke.com/ezflash/wiki/index.php/EZFlash_4#Using_the_EZ4_with_a_Passme2_device)

But after which, I am still able to start the ez4-lite with passme2-z.

Is there a different way of writing... or the sram just store all the sav file i write to it before and remembers it?

just want to understand how it works better, and also.. find out why my cart don work with the MaxMediaLauncher and why my passme2-z didn't work with M3 and G6-lite
