Hi guys,

I'll get straight to the point; I downloaded the Panasonic SD Formatter and when I try to install it I get an error.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance.

try this:

1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
2. Select Task Manager.
3. Select the Processes tab.
4. Look for IKernel.exe. If it is running, select it and click End Process.
5. Select Yes to the Task Manager Warning dialog.
6. Using Windows Explorer browse to C: \Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\engine.
7. (Click here) Right-click the highlighted engine directory and select Delete.
8. Download iKernel: http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/...ernelupdate.exe
9. Double-click ikernelupdate.exe to install it.
10. Done.

are u dead? :3

if that didn't work:

QUOTE said:
a) Close all software and system tray applications
b) Open a command prompt
c) Type: cd %temp%
d) You should now be in a directory that looks like ....~local\TEMP\
e) Type: del *.tmp
f) Now try the installer again (logged in as an Administrator, of course)

If the problem persists, take steps a-d again, but delete all files and subdirectories from Temp.
