I just recently installed hbc9 gamma and tried running a backup of No More Heroes labeled as "ntsc-pal" (which makes little to no sense to me). My ntsc wii plays the game fine through launcher, but only in black and white. Forcing NTSC results in a frozen green screen and forcing 50 and 60 hz pal keeps the game in black and white. Does this information lead you to believe that the game is the pal version and can't be played in color on my ntsc wii? This is the first backup I've ever tried, and I'm wondering if Pal games ever work in forced ntsc mode. Thanks very much for your help.

The way to get it to work is with VMC (video mode changer, made by waninkoko I believe), after which you will need geckoOS to run the disc.. VMC goes into the disc and changes the video modes from pal to ntsc
