Hacking PAL disc on NTSC wii ?

I justg bought a Wii here in Dubai (NTSC) and by mistake bought also a PAL game.

Is there any chance I could ply the game on my machine ?

A modchip is a chip you solder in the wii that allows you to play copied discs and disc from other regions.

No idea where you could find one in Dubai, but this seems to say that it will work on NTSC-U with a wiikey at least.
