Paid Hosting....Forum...Homebrew

I am planning to create a forum dedicated to homebrew and ds games but I'm wondering which paid hosting I should use? Any ideas? Also, where should I look for a paid domain. I thought about Godaddy but I read some Godaddy horror stories!
