A ten year old is incapable of understanding the nature of piracy and copyright law, let alone the potential consequences. I only take comfort knowing that as a minor she wouldn't be held responsible and they would go straight to the person that provided it, same as if you took her out to shoplift for you.
I had a supercard when I was 7.

I knew it was illeagel.

What kind of schmuck gives a kid a flash cart?

While all the other kids will be unwrapping their presents, they get to go to some warez site and download games.

"Here, I'm too cheap to buy you gifts so you can go get them off the internet instead."

Great example for somebody not old enough to understand what they're doing and make up their own mind. You're a fucking punk.

Wow. You've been on GBAtemp for 5 years and can post nonsense like this?

Is a person a schmuck if he gives a kid a mp3 player? A computer with a CD/DVD burner? Think about it.

The OP clearly stated he bought them memory cards as well. Probably will have them well loaded and ready to go when they open them.

What if they only use them for playing backups instead of carrying around multiple carts? What if they only use them for homebrew?

Seriously though - to come into GBAtemp, and on top of that to make a post in a flashcard specific forum calling someone a 'fucking punk' for giving away flashcards as gifts? I think we can all see who is the real hypocrite. Next you'll tell us you've never owned a copy or backup of any kind in your life, or used any type of flashcart or modchip on any device - even homebrew. If you can't then you should really not post (especially judging others) because you don't have a leg to stand on.

Can I ask where you ordered them from? I was hoping I'd find a UK store, but most seem to have high prices or really bad feedback. Thanks

Damn 6 8GB cards! Not to be rude but how much was all of it put together?

The whole total was just over $100 for the 8GB A-Data Class 6 cards from Newegg.
The AK2i's were $24 a piece from realhotstuff. I know I could have got them cheaper but I got them shipped free in 3 days.

This was the point. The two little cousins have a ton of retail games. I'm just trying to make it so they don't lose them

Thank you! I've been testing one of the cards and had trouble setting up the wifi update stuff even with the new plugin. I would go to update and it would just sit on the blue loading screen. I reformatted using the Panasonic formater and it works now.

Has anyone tested the 12/14/09 loader yet? I know the 12/9/09 loader was a bit wonky.

No problem with the newest loader either.
