Gaming Overheating switch, help?

Hi there,

My switch has been overheating recently after an hour on the dock or after an hour when in handheld mode. I think the fan of the switch needs to be changed. Can I buy any fans or there's some specification per model?

Define overheating? The switch can get pretty hot

you can replace the thermal paste for a small decrease in temp

In dock mode, after one hour I get a message that the system is overheating and that the switch is going in sleep mode. It gets really hot in handheld mode as well, but I can continue playing for multiple hours. I think it's the fan because I never hear the ventilation getting noisy once in a while to cool the switch.

Should change the thermal paste, probably it is completely dry out.

Ok thanks for the help I'll try to change the thermal paste to see if that's the issue I'll report back later
