OTP Guide

Full Guide Release!

https://plailect.github.io/OTP/

All regions now supported!

If you appreciate this guide and the work I put into maintaining it, I accept donations through both Bitcoin and PayPal.

If you felt like the guide helped you out then I'd really appreciate it! If I get enough I may buy a 2DS for testing hardware stuff so I don't break another N3DS.

If the guide didn't help you out then I'm really sorry about that :(

The 0x4 xorpad should show as long as you are on a new 3DS using Decrypt9. It's directly under "CTRNAND Padgen"

When I get home in a few hours I'll look into the n3ds decrypt9 issue. The option is showing up for some people but not others for some reason.

rip guess i'll continue my Pokemon Y run also the tut says files will get dumped to a decrypt9 folder on the root when they just end up on the root with no folder.

Sooooooo, what exactly does this OTP do? Does it let you sign things? What would it do that emuNAND can't do already?
In theory, this is capable to run arm9 code right before the nand boots so, this is a much cleaner coldboot and will probably allow to do more things.

All of that is theory since this is still in testing stages.

And eventually may be required to run CFW at all.

We confirmed we have arm9 code executing, we're just having trouble setting things up to make arm11 or most payloads work. Give it some time and we'll have everything figured out.

Nope, or at the very least we couldn't get it to work. Fun right :)
Alright hopefully the last questions. If I were to format my system with only the nesessary files, would that make any difference? Also does an unlinked emunand cause problems?

Edit: OK so after 6 consecutive downgrading failures *cries* I've noticed a pattern to my downgrading. It seems like either on the 27th or 28th cia, I get thrown an error message. If I were to delete that cia, would I be safe. I know the answer is normally "fk no", but so far my console has been able to turn on with the rest of the cia that have been installed so would it make a difference?
