OTP Guide

Full Guide Release!

https://plailect.github.io/OTP/

All regions now supported!

If you appreciate this guide and the work I put into maintaining it, I accept donations through both Bitcoin and PayPal.

If you felt like the guide helped you out then I'd really appreciate it! If I get enough I may buy a 2DS for testing hardware stuff so I don't break another N3DS.

If the guide didn't help you out then I'm really sorry about that :(

How do I fix this error while downgrading the emuNAND?

Has anyone had any success with a 1.2gb nand? I just noticed that when I make emunand on a 1.2gb nand it makes the emunand image 1.8gb. I am going to see if I can resize the emunand partition on the SD card to make it work

Edit: I got it to work by using EmuNAND9 to make a new emunand partition on the sd and D9 to rip the nand

don't think it's a good idea at all , since even if you succeed to downgrade , how will you update back to 9.2 again?(updating with a gamecard will brick your n3ds)

Make a backup of your emunand and copy the files to your computer, for safe keeping. Downgrade emunand to 2.1. Extract OTP keys. Restore emunand or go on computer and restore it manually.

No. That's not possible because no cfw can run 2.1 emuNAND, so all you'll get for emuNAND is a nice black screen.

I'm lost. This guide is to show you how to downgrade emunand to 2.1, then to grab the keys using decrypt9, without having to load the emunand. What's the issue?

Hmm they might have changed the method of downgrading (highly unlikely), but from what I remember, you downgrade emuNAND, use D9 to extract emuNAND, do a little magic, and inject the downgraded emuNAND to sysNAND, and then you get your OTP. You say that you just downgrade emuNAND and get your OTP which would be unbelievable, but I'm pretty sure you can't.
