I've never done anything homebrew related on Wii U but that was pretty easy to set up.
After a few attempts (at least 10 actually), I got an OTP printout on screen. It seemed like trying a different webpage to launch the homebrew channel like Googiehax's did the trick for me.

To be safe I did two read-outs with the v1.1 of IOSUOTP, and they appear to match, and they end in 000000E1.
