It looks like you used like, house paint or something, because that creates the chunky look. Use some sort of modeling paint next time and it won't look so bad...But your effort is good, nonetheless. I would never even attempt to do something like that to my DS, XD.

That IS modeling paint... You probably need to use spray paint to get rid of the texture.
