Hacking original 3ds at 7.xx .....what can i do with it?

hello guys,
so i have an original 3ds at 7.xx .....what can i do with it?
i only have a DS flash cart that works with it

can i hack it with a soft mod (not sky3ds or gateway 3ds carts) i want to play emulators and backed up games (yes i own the games) via sd card or something?

so what hacks can i do with my 3ds?
