I've been looking around and haven't found anything except sketchy outdated guides so I'm asking here, any way to on latest ver. with boot9strap? I don't expect smea to get an o3DS payload working any time soon and there's some legacy stuff that's only 3dsx.

The solutions I see are something like ctrtransfer from Decrypt9WIP or GodMode9 since I don't want to play with fire installing manually with a bunch of cia files while the system is running

I'm guessing he already has boot9 since he mentioned it and as for the payloads you can use the 11.2 payloads renamed to 11.4 for the Homebrew launcher

I think people overlooked that she already has boot9strap, or that's how I interpreted it. If that's the case, then all you should need to do is make sure you're using Luma or a CFW that applies anti-anti-downgrade patches, then just run sysDowngrader with the appropriate CIAs in the right place. Or if you have a NAND backup from an earlier period of time you could restore that while keeping boot9strap.

I don't understand. What's on her console? If she has b9s already then what is she asking exactly? Did she install Derek's sighax and wants to know how to change to b9s?

I think she wants to know about downgrading cause Homebrew launcher don't work on old 3ds using the correct payloads that's why I told her she can use the 11.2 renamed to match the 11.4

Yeah, the question is for people who already have boot9strap and want to downgrade, I'll try sysDowngrader and update OP
it's better to use the ctr nand transfer imho. and as I said if running homebrew menu is all you want just manually download the 11.2 payload and rename to 11.4 and it will work. I have 03ds on 11.4 and it works for me.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
