    I kinda wish they had the old version. I remember playing the old DOS version all the time in my 1st grade class. Loved it.

    hmmm i remember OT2 for macintosh i had a phobia of the getting sick/injury/death music (well more of a scared reaction, note this was when i was 5-6 yrs old) but yah i liked it who knew education gsmes were so fun

    btw who's producing this since OT2 was produced by Mecc in 95 but shutdown in 98?never mind found it SGV DISTROBUTIONS

    Ah, Oregon Trail. Those were the fun, old days back when I was in elementary school. I would always play that game whenever I finished typing my short paragraphs for typing practice at the computer lab. I would always end up having at least 1 person die when I reached my destination. :sleep:

    Was a cool game back then, did a lot of things other games didn't. Gameloft did a good version for mobile phones too.

    I assume this is Gameloft too they're supposed to be the ones who own the series now.

    No, unfortunately, this is done by Crave -- a known shovelware publisher.
    There's actually a $30 difference if you know what I mean :evil:

    But seriously, I think they justify the extra $10 by the material cost of a rom cartridge vs. disc and the apparent value of the added 3D feature.
