It's one thing to own what is surely going to be one of the top games of 2010, but it's quite another to buy it in a limited edition bundle that comes with every peripheral you'll need to get the most out of the game. If you are not familiar with the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 (Tri~), be sure to check out our first impressions when Luke Westaway headed down to the Monster Hunter University event in London last month.

When the game launches next month, you'll be able to buy the game in an Ultimate Hunter Pack that includes a copy of the game, a black Classic Controller Pro, and the Wii Speak if you preorder it on the GAME website. There's also a fourth mystery item that appears to be Lagicrus-related: a figurine perhaps? You can also preorder this at your local bricks and mortar GAME store, if you're still distrustful of the Internet for whatever reason.

At the recent Nintendo Media Summit, Capcom revealed further details on the highly anticipated action adventure game. North American gamers that preorder the game or the Classic Controller Pro bundle from GameStop will also get a playable demo and free Nintendo Points. The demo will be available from 8th March onwards across GameStop stores.

This is one of my most hyped wii games this year, but I have other things to save up for so Ill just get the normal game when its out

Nice box set, from the looks of it.

As for the game, I don't know. I hardly played any of the Japanese version due to the language barrier and haven't tried any of the other games yet. Maybe I'll throw one on my PSP some time (I actually did, but the beginning was so boring that I deleted it for other games).

I preordered MH3, but not in this stupid cardboard box (I guess that's what it is)
If it was wood with metal fittings I'd even considered shelling out that much bucks for it...

Actually the Alien Quadrilogy Alien Head box set ranks as my favourite packaging...

Why are limited thing over hyped?
They only have extras that no one uses.
But thats the point. There are extras that few people will have. You can also sell it in the future for more.

why is it rated 12 when there is blood in it? in america it is rated teen because it has violence and alcohol in it.

i wouldn't say it has useless crap in there, it includes the wiispeak and classic controller including the game, the price of £70 aint worth it though.

I'm wondering the same thing. If you look at Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and its Wii/PSP port, Rival Swords, they're identical games except Rival Swords is rated T because it lacks blood. There's also some other things like Halo which many consider should be rated T but is only really rated M because of the blood. Interesting.

meh they just stole the idea from the GOD OF WAR 3 trilogy edition!

and IMHO the GOD OF WAR 3 one is better and looks cooler!

they'll probably remove the blood/ minimise it like they did with the psp english versions. the japanese versions always have had more blood.

now i'm hoping this is going to be something other than cardboard.

Its a bummer this is only limited to the UK.

I know! I'm a HUGE Monster Hunter fan, have been since the first game...I could import it if I really wanted to spend the money, but I'm going to pre-order the game in a couple of weeks.

lol. i bet with a bit of wood and metal you can model this box

i hate cardboard -_-
love the game (except on psp for having only 1 MAP)
i hope tri has more of a open world then a closed map.

All Monster Hunter games are quest based and closed map, that most likely isn't going to change.
