Hacking PSP Go with firmware 6.61

I am quite late to the PSP scene. Just want to verify if a PSP go with 6.61 firmware is downgradeable and able to install CFW?

Use chronoswitch to downgrade to 6.60, then install infinity.

well i thought he wanna go the downgrade route, so i told him to.
And i didn't know we can do it on 6.61 OFW, as i did mine on 6.60 pro.

Secondhand PSPs usually varies about what firmware it will be on. If it's still on 6.60 or below, you can go straight to install infinity. If it's on 6.61, i'm not really sure, but it doesn't hurt to downgrade. It's not like 3DS where it can take 30 mins just for downgrading and backups. On PSP, it only take about 10 mins because you don't have to backup your files.

I heard you need to be activated or something or psx and minis not will work with 3.61. My is 3.60 cfw and works well. Fast recovery is not bad.

It's PSP section dude, not Vita. It doesn't need any activation.
