What kind of specs would I need to run these at minimum? My laptop runs Oblivion at just above minimum settings pretty well, but due to the integrated graphics it'll lag some with higher settings or anything more than 800x600.

The minimum specs are certainly lower then Oblivion, you should do fine..

If you already own Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 then you can gift those two, but only if you own them already and only those two games. Can't gift Portal/Episode 2.
