i recently tryed installing final fantasy III into my supercard lite, and i got an open file error notice, so i tryed upgrading software to see if it would work then, but still no luck.

i tryed supercard version 2.57 with the updated 1.7 firmware, but that still did not work. so i ended up deleting all of my games to see if i needed to upload all of the games back in, but now all of them are giving the "open file error" notice. somebody help!

Sounds like the output destination has been changed to a place that doesn't exist. Try changing it in the options menu to the SD reader/writer location.

Did you put the new firmware into the root directory all by itself & just boot from that? Personally I'd back up everything on the MicroSD, wipe it then place the new firmware & run it.
