Homebrew OOTHax with powersaves problem

So if I buy a powersave dongle, i'll only need the correct save for my firmware (o3ds 10.2) and the latest boot.3dsx in my SD card, then inject the save to the game with powersave, and that's all ? No need for otherapp/ropbin things ?

I have an old 3DS with 10.3.0-28 USA, and a American copy of Zelda OOT3D, and in your post I couldn't find any Compatible save file since the ones in your post are only for the European versions of the game.

(Sorry, I'm kinda confused.... )
