Gaming Online Multiplayer?

We have heard a small amount about Nintendo Connect24 content but what has been said about the ability to play people online (a la Xbox Live)? I've seen no mention of what games take advantage of real-time online play.

That's because there are no online Wii titles so far. Nintendo were slow to the ball. The first one will be Pokemon Battle Revolution, due out in japan at the end of the year I believe.

that's probably because idiot nintendo never coded interface, lobby and things like that for the developers to use... therefore no one wants to...

Only supported game so far is the new Pokemon for Wii. It's the first and only announced online play game.

The only games known so far that have an online aspect are:
Animal Crossing Wii
Battalion Wars 2
Forever Blue
Mario Strikers Charged
Mario Party 8
Pokémon Battle Revolution
Super Smash Bros Brawl

I thought that both call of duty 3 and farcry were goin to be online, but not until nintendo brings out its first online game in 2007 and allows the games to be updated to allow online play. wikipedia at least says cod3 wii is online after 2007. maybe some other launch games will get the same treatment?

Via a WiiConnect24 update there is the possiblity that alot of games could add online to their list of features.
