hi im on 5.0.2 with autorcm and hbl etc any point staying with 5.0.2 specifically or should i update i mean is there any homebrew that works on 5.0.2 and below that won't work on 5.1.0?
Considering how minor the changes are between 5.0.2 and 5.1, I'd imagine most homebrew that work on 5.0.2 would still function on 5.1 but no one has released data that tested this so you could try and check to see if your favorite homebrews still work on 5.1

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
