Hacking Old3DS brick

Hello guys so here's a problem,I got bricked white 3dsXl,it can boot game from combination so i figured out to use sky3ds and launch cubic ninja to get to hombrew menu and do something but exploit seems to stop working i just got two black screens.I also have another 3ds with rxtools and emunand if it can help.!

How is it bricked? Hard or soft. Do you have a nand backup?

I think its soft,because i can go to recovery mode but i always get unable to update.It was bricked by formating emunand i guess))I know its stupid but)I did what i did)

if you take out SD card does it still work?
