old xbox mods

hey guys my boddy just gave me an old xbox and one of my freind have one modded with an emulatore and stuff..

whats the easy way for this?

and i removed his drive and put it in an external hard drive enclosure to copy the content to my other drive..but my pc knows its there but i cant see it in my computer panel?

Your pc won't see the drive for two reasons. It's locked and needs to be unlocked before the pc will read it and it's using the xbox file system fatx. You can't just stick it in the pc and and read it, you need something like xboxhdm to play around with xbox drives.

Modding it, easiest thing to do is softmod. You can do it by either hotswapping +xboxhdm or a gamesave exploit.

Newer version of it out now 3.1 I think, but tutorial still works for it. Nothing else needed, but not as simple as gamesave exploit.


Gamesave exploit. Very easy,trained monkey could do it. Need an exploited game (007 agent under fire, mechassualt & splinter cell). Get one of the various exploited save packages, transfer save to xbox, load save and follow prompts.
