Hacking Old 2ds CFW issues

I successfully hacked an old 2ds last night using an r4i. Everything was working fine updated luma to the most recent version. Needed to switch everything over to a larger sd card. Properly formatted sd card got everything copied over and every time I try to launch any of the homebrews (fbi freeshop ect) I get a disc removed error. If it makes a difference tik shop is working.

*Update* everything works fine when I use the original sd card so I will reformat the 64gb card and recopy everything and go from there.

The target SD is most likely failing or fake. Get a new one.

All fixed now. reformatted the target sd card and recopied everything but an update log and everything is working smoothly.

Back up your saves to your computer regularly (export with JKSM and copy the JKSM folder to your computer) in case it dies again.

It could have just been formatted wrong though, like some weird cluster size or something... Still, good advice, losing saves is a huge pain.
