I can go down to Gamestop and pick up a 3ds for $169.99, but I just checked Amazon and they are selling for upwards of $180 not including shipping. What the fuck, chuck?

Amazon sold out or no longer stocks them. Amazon are not selling them for $180, other sellers are selling them for $180. At $180 it may not be so expensive to others if there is no tax from these sellers or where they live.

Yeah, I would, but I need to trade in some games before I can buy it, and Amazon has the best deals for game trade ins. The games I want to trade in would net me $60 on Amazon, but roughly $20 at gamestop (I checked)

Amazon charges an arm and a leg for everything and there needs to be a discount system like with the Japanese branch, maybe a 5-10% discount.
