Dude, started playing Okami for PS2 yesterday.
It is a really nice game! (the (long) prologue's "voice" is really annoying)

Anyway, the ideia of you draw in the screen to change you reality is great! But I belive it would be awesome have this game in NDS!
It functions really good in ps2 controller, but I think that with a stylus would be better and more dynamic. It would be possible more moves and brush strokes.
Anyway, I don't think that NDS could handle this game...

Anyone here playing it that tough the same think that I did?

I'm getting it tomorrow so I'll see how good it is then.

Hmm...
I don't really know how Okami plays... but there is a DS game here, that's been made by 8 young french students in video games which seems to be very similar to Okami...

1st screens from a draft made for PC:

and there's the official website with a trailer...
it seems very promising...

I've been glued to this game since I picked it up a few days back. There are times you'll wish you could make the story text scroll faster, and the camera is not quite perfect, but overall an amazing game so far. Definitely a must-play for Zelda fans.

I got it two days ago, and I'm playing it all the time.
I'm taking my time visiting, checking the ground, finding secrets.
There seems to be a lot of weapons and treasures to discover.
I'm curently at Taka Pass (3rd map).

The voices sure are annoying and the prologue very long, but I like the story. I's a japanese poem game.
I think I'm playing a Zelda game as there is some outside maps, some inside dungeons with enigms to resolves and top of all it's like playing with Ookami-Link style

Oh, and just one thing about the title, the name ?kami stand for Ookami and not Oukami.
ookami = wolf
oukami = don't exist.
Ou = to run after, and Kami = god. But then should have been ?gami.

I dont know why they choose the Kunrei-shiki method for romaji instead of popular Hepburn.
Maybe there's a game's word with wolf and a god who runs, or maybe it's just a visual for the title ^^

Edit : it seem's in japanese it's Okami too, O is the reverse katakana "O"
Or maybe a kanji I don't know.
