Official VLC for Android

I'd like to add that despite the fact that it says it's incompatible with your devices it'll likely still work.
I installed the APK and in ran smoothly.
I use a Galaxy Nexus if anybody was wondering.

The problem seems mostly to be location-related. I think it was something to do with differences in what governed the availability of the codecs, or something.

Heh, aren't you really asking me to remember which video files was I playing 8 to 12 months ago? I remember it was some anime - the question was... WHICH anime? I should try asking my friend which was having the same problems I had some months ago (which has now switched to MPC-HC on my advice), maybe he remembers what he was trying to watch with it.

I'm curious because a lot of the problems I've seen are actually caused by fucked-up video files (especially in anime distribution things where people will use all sorts of different formats incorrectly, but FAST likely knows more on this front than I do) and while other players will skip past the issues, VLC will halt on them (because it has functions other than just playing videos).

I remember that switching to MPC-HC fixed it for me (as I remember finishing watching it without problems). I'll try to give a look into my old series and look if I can find anything.

No no, it didn't halt - it started showing up green goob and squished frames all over the place
