That's actually the first RPG we planned on doing after TMGS3.

Just to make sure you were talking about summon night 2 right?

Indeed

How close are you guys to finishing TMGS3?

We're not starting it until Blood of Bahamut.
Regardless, you'll have to wait, anyway.

Wow. So how many games are you gonna translate? You already said ... three, if not more.

And why does it seem like no one else is allowed to do these games?

ShinRyouma took over translation work after Noitora stopped working on SRW K, why can't someone else pick up EXCEED?

A lot of people plan to return to certain games, or reserve them for the future, etc. It's considered bad etiquette to encroach on someone else's plans, without decent reason.

As far as EXCEED goes, obviously noone wants to pick it up. Just be patient.

These are later down the line games. We did have a "Projects to come" page on our blog, but people kept requesting things, so we took it down.

WHERE does that even seem relevant to what you quoted?

look ask the person in question if you can use their work or continue from it before you do anything. But demanding someone to continue on from someone elses stuff - Really Doesn't sound like something you should do. If YOU were going to do YOUR own project starting form someone else's work - then you should ask them politely first. Or start your own project from the very beginning. But don't complain about nothing happening or ask other people to take over someone elses stuff. If that person said or asked themselves that is their business not yours.

Game name
RPG Tsukuru DS)

Release date
January 28 2010

Game info
this is a game based off of rpg maker vx. it is a direct port minus the scripts and can download things through wi-fi. the program lets you make "Japan Style" RPG games. im not sure how popular it was in japan but i knoe that there are a lot of japaneese fansites. it was already confirmed by enterbrain, the games producer, that it will not be released in english.

i have some pretty good knowledge of the game and can pretty much tell you what most of the menus say. i just take forever to identify them whan playing because japaneese confuses me...

I would do it myself if I knew Japanese, but I'd still have to get Noitora's menu translation regardless. I'm not going to start from scratch.

Must have been a goof on my part.

By the way, all the links in the first post are broken, is it intentional?

Yeah, that's somewhat my fault, but also somewhat the fault of whoever owns temp (or whoever is in charge of the storage and filesystems). The URL code changed apparently after I had provided an updated list for this, and so most of the links won't work. I'll fix it sometime, but for now, it's really not too hard to just google the name of the game you're interested in investigating.

Considering that W, Gakuen and K were never ported over, I'd love a menu translation for this game. I know a full blown translation would take WAY to long.

Game name
Super Robot Taisen L

Release date
11/25/10

Game info
Next in a long series of a tactical turn-based RPG showcasing many of our favorite Mechs from our childhood and today.

Nothing but a willingness to learn so I can contribute as well.

Level-5 said they want to bring Another World (Ni No Kuni) overseas but I just don't see it happening any time soon (maybe E3 may prove me wrong - I really hope so). But this game have to be translated, together with its printed magic book.
