I don't complain about anything. I've just asked a simple question if those patches ever become open source. That's it.
It is a unususal approach especially if the project is a WIP making it impossible for others to contribute or review the code. It's just not what you're used to in such projects, but maybe I'm wrong.

Since my sd card 128gb with all my saves on it i decided to just use a smaller 2gb formatted to fat32. now i get error "failed to initilize SD card" on booting. Have to hold down power 10sec to reboot. SD shows up just fine in OFW. GRR!!

I had the same... I ended up formatting a 64 GB SD card to fat32 and that worked fine. For now I won't bother if I were you since this CFW doesn't really add anything

You can prove it's working by dropping sys-ftpd.kip in the sysmodules folder.

Not biting u so relax Its multiple people in this thread that flame the poor guy, he (@Reisyukaku ) really does do allot of good for this comunity u know If u scroll past all complainers, alot of good stuff comes from @Darth Meteos for example. Read her posts, learn, relax and that last step, really important! Remember the first couple of cfw for the psp back in the days? Well, i do

So please rei, take ur time fixing those errors, we all want a stable fw with everything working and such, stay safe (u and ur awesome code).

Where is the fun in that. I just tried 3 more SD cards formatted to fat32. Still getting the "Failed to init sd card!" error. i still want to have ReiNX setup and ready to go for when things change. It was already stated that sig patches are separate form CFW so we shouldn't have to recompile once @Reisyukaku gets sig patches stable enough to release. Well, that's my understanding anyway.

Did you compile the files yourself or did you download one from this thread? The one I used was uploaded in this thread and worked fine for me (on the 2nd sd card formatted fat32)

Both, compiled and from this thread. im only using the one from this thread as its confirmed working.

Cart2 games have been cracked for weeks, RCM can't be patched on these consoles. Future proofing, man.

It's currently a bootloader like Hekate, nothing too fancy, but more is coming imminently, including sigpatches and an nsp installer.
