I mean, their way of backup loading isn't elegant at all, they are parsing the xci's and feeding them directly to the filesystem sysmodule, thats more of a, let's throw bricks together to build a house-ish way of making profit.

Yet it isn't replicated and doesn't have any downside besides not being "an elegant way", or did I miss something?

TX did a great job and no one else has managed to achieve this, especially after such a long time they were given by now.

Buying the only option you have to play backups doesn't make anyone a fanboy, and even if they are fanboying, logic makes me assume they're right since, as I mentioned, it's the only option right now.

Right now, you are asking for something of their work, just for free. This won't happen.

Fanboyism means one defending something with every argument one have that it is the best shit there is and denied better alternative that will likely to showed up in the future

i don't wanna go of topic but you know the fact that team x didn't help with anything for the community..unlike rie his CFW is open Source for everyone
i would respect team x if they made their cfw open source & paying only for the dongle version but they don't so yea i don't like them
anyway as soon as we have the back up loader from rie..there will be no more TX updates or anything they will die like gateway back in the 3ds era

Edit: Shit, I just realised milieu is a synonym of atmosphere. I missed a good chance there.

lets be honest here..everyone paying for TX is paying for the backup loader
once there is a free alternative and everybody stop paying for the tx you know what will happen right?
so no i don't think tx will use Rie code or anything in the future

Lurker since the wiiU days, I compiled this and sent the payload, get the same couple of screenshots posted here, i.e. text then, splash screen. Then it just goes blue screen. Is that what's supposed to happen? I understand it's still a WIP, just wanted to check that's the norm so far.

For the moment, there's no reason for the average user to use this over Hekate plus the AiO SDFiles. In the future, ReiNX will get more features, such as signature patching.

you mean atmosphere probably. as hekate is a custom bootloader and not a cfw, you can also boot ReiNX with hekate, custom bootloader + cfw is a good deal.

to be able to make this youll have to do

go to the website and download devkitpro-pacman.deb

then
sudo dpkg -i devkitpro-pacman.deb

then
sudo dkp-pacman -S gba-dev

or

sudo dkp-pacman -S gba-3ds
that will install devkitarm

I read that, I was referring to "no advantages over hekate" as hekate is essentially "just" a bootloader and thus it's atmosphere which is being used to boot
