Hacking Official NDS Firmware Upgrade!?

I googled around and I found this website; it is a post of a guy who was a beta tester for the first beta of The NDS Official Firmware Upgrade. It seems to have some nice features. I really wonder if Nintendo is going to release it, and if they do will they have us download a program that lets us upgrade it from a computer or will they have a computer set up at some store where we could upgrade?

Wifi Chat and Messege board sounds very cool!

There is a new feature called Virtual Console. It says you are able to download titles from Gameboy Gameboy Colour and Sega game titles from YOUR DS! So basically IF this feature is promoted they will add some emulators to your DS in order to play these titles. Obviously, these titles arn't going to be free. But that is IF They promote this feature.

wow this looks great! the Virtual Console thing will probably turn out to be something linked with Wii-Points and purchasing all those good-old games from our childhood XD

I think if this was true a lot of us would be scared to update because the update might stop flash cards from working on the nds.
