Congratulations to LGC for the first 3DS releases.

These releases are now stored in their own section.

5-6-2011 Game Super_Monkey_Ball_3D_EUR_3DS-LGC
5-6-2011 Game Tom_Clancys_Ghost_Recon_Shadow_Wars_EUR_3DS-LGC

They may have dumped them, but they can't really do anything with them.

Right. Again, .nfo here:

P.S. Most people are probably asking themselves "HOW?"
The answer is "Yes, it is THAT simple". This release is 100% complete
and was tested on our own hardware. Just wait for the chinese to
figure it all out as well, then you can play this release too.
Like our DS and DSi dumps, we have included a picture of the
dumper with this release. Make of it what you want, we have
no intention of giving our further information.

A piracy is bad and Nintendo plans to protect their 3D portable from greedy pirates....*shake my head* -- Guess what ? Nintendo fails again. Jeez.
Hmm, but that would still be a problem. Even if they can make the hardware possible to do this, how do you think nin is going to react? Probably the same way sony did when the first PS3 hacks came out, lawsuits.

Perhaps.. Oh boy.

If piracy were actually possible this early I really wouldn't feel guilty one bit. If companies don't think it's worth spending money to put out good games at launch, why should I spend money to buy them? At this point the most appealing thing about these games is to check out the graphical and 3D capabilities of the system.

I think that piracy will be a good thing for the 3DS.
There are many people like me that aren't going to buy the console until it's pirated.
Anyway I only pirate games i'm not going to buy.
That's great for Nintendo, now what about video game developer?

QUOTE(chris888222 @ Jun 5 2011, 10:19 PM) Piracy won't ruin sales but I bet it would affect third party support. Can it?

The system will sell fine, but if no one is buying games, then the games won't sell. Piracy doesn't kill the system, it kills the game developers.
If you don't believe me, take one look at cing

But Piracy is like, a thief giving excuse that someone cannot afford to buy one, no ?

More like: I can't afford to buy this new Mercedes Benz, so I'll just jack one off the street.

Nintendo saw what happened to Sony.

They won't go after hackers, they know they will lose hundreds of millions maybe billion in attacks if they do like Sony did.

Nintendo will just accept it and ban you from the eshop and online, it's all they can legally and safely do.

Probably, but you never know. They did say that their security was better then their last one, but look at it now, the games have already been dumped and a corroding to the dumpers playable with their hardware. They're sure to have a gripe with this.

to better put that its more like...."i can't afford to buy this new Mercedes Benz, so I'll just Scan it with my transformers scanning capability and turn into one.......exact to what you do with a game....no one is getting actual property stolen...

Look at it this way: If piracy did not exist then I would not even have bought a DS, much less the games that I pirated.
So either way the developers don't get jackshit from me, but since piracy does exist Nintendo has a new customer for a Wii and three DS lites.

The problem demon is that companies make money off the software and licensing, not the hardware involved (unless it's a computer, etc.). So, not buying games does hurt games, especially making hacking so easy a 6 year old child can do it.

Pirating is a way of life and has been for centuries.

Are you serious right now? If so, that has to be one of the weakest strawman arguments I have ever seen.

not if you are implying that the sole reason it is hurting gamming developers is that it is not being bought then yes it is a true and correct statment, come up with another reason as," not buying it" is stupid argument...if i was never going to buy it in the first place how is this different than some person in the middle of the desert that is also not going to buy it?

I knew that logical fallacies would be rearing their ugly heads once again in this thread. Thanks for proving me right, Demon.

you mean me or "DeMoN"?
also if you dont like what is obviously you being corrected in a very truthfull manner, then i would suggest not saying such retarded nonsense...

im gonna learn you a lesson all you anti-piracy people:
Exhibit A:
most piraters pirates because THEY CANNOT AFFORD THE ORIGINAL!
so if they can't buy the original anyways do honestly think they would buy it if they couldn't pirate it?

Exhibit B:
Piracy/Hombrew helps hardware sales
why?
well if you think about it
a pirater won't normally shell out 250$ for a console that the cant pirate for. so if they can pirate on that console then on there mentality they save cash in the long run so they save up to buy the console

Exhibit C:
the big companies want you too believe piracy is a HUGE DEAL, but in reality it is minimal maybe AT MOST 4% profit loss due to it. more like 2 or 3% loss. not even 10% of the pop. of the US pirates

so there you go piracy helps more than it harms the industry, time for recess
