Hacking Odd Screen Size Problem

I'm using 0.3gamma as a backup loader, and I'm having a few minor problems. At least 10 backups work fine on it, but Lego Batman and Mario Party 8 have an odd screen size problem. The whole image is shifted down and to the right about 6 inches both ways. I can see the game, and it will run fine, but part of the image is cut off. Also, Boom Blox won't load, just goes to a black screen and stays there. Could these be bad burns? I hate to try again, just out of waste of DVD-Rs if they don't work again. Thanks for your help.
