Yes this will work on gamma... Wiigator used GeckoOS as a base for gamma.. which is why it has it's features...

it will save certain things... Like unlocked characters... thats it otherwise codes have to be loaded each time... codes patch the memory of the game... should not screw up your save....

the game id is needed..... without it the codes can't be applied...

So I should name the files just with the game ID, like with SSBB the file is : RSBP01.gct ? Then put it to X\codes\ ? ( X being the drive letter of SD card )

And about the saving.. I didn't mean messing up like that.. But mainly stuff if I mess around with attack, defense, gravity ratios etc.. If it saves those into my SSBB savefile / makes it corrupted.. that would suck >.

no it does not save that info into your save file....

Put your Game ID in game id section
choose file > export to gct > select the drive letter of your sdcard reader > click store >Pay Dirt!!!

Yep, thanks

. I'll report back once I've tried wether the codes work or not.. Tomorrow that is. Thanks for your help so far.

Well... It works and... it doesn't work.

Summary ( Super Smash Bros Brawl ) : I selected All characters, levels, trophies, stickers and challenges to be done 100% and exported the .gct into SD card. Codes loaded fine, and I indeed had all my characters. ...

Problem : When I would choose character on Player 1, the game would immediately freeze and reinserting disc would not help. This was playing through gamma.

But as I got it to save the game, I could have all characters now when playing through Disc Channel..

Problem : After each battle you get to the score screen and press A to continue to the character selection screen.. it would freeze. Every. Single. Time...

So I deleted all my Save data, and then tried again with Ocarina codes, same thing happened !

What the hell is this and can't it be fixed ? I'm pretty pissed here as I couldn't take backup of my original SSBB save cause stupid retarded Nintendo made it so that SSBB savefile can't be copied..Now I lost all my progress so far, and I was missing only couple characters and levels...

Other than that..I tried Tales of Symphonia and the codes worked fine. But Wario Land Shake It! wouldn't work for some reason. My version might be PAL, I'm not sure.. but GeckoUSB doesn't have codes for the PAL version... Is there any way to convert the NTSC codes to work on a PAL game ? I tried changing the game ID to correspond the PAL version, and it said on Gamma that '' Applying SD codes '', but they weren't in effect. Something else is required aswell..

that should not of happened.... i and allot of others have used those codes with no issues... I'm sorry to hear you lost your save because of the problem... when using codes you should not select to many at once... it can cause issues i don't know what version of GeckOS wiigator bases gamma off of but it sounds like an older version if your having those issues...

try the code for all characters... get them then save unapply that code and play....

ok. here's one. i can't get mario kart wii to recognize ocarina codes. using backup loader gamma. 3.2u wii.
in config i set ocarina to on, and i've tried hook type as vi and gc pad. don't have a wii gamepad so i can't try that one. launching.... gameid: rmce01
found sd codes.... applying.
game loads, but with no code effects. my eyes are dry from all the reading i've done, and noone seems to have an answer.
any help or pointing to a thread that will would be greatly appeciated.
also tried using the gecko os loader. same thing.
using the pc client for creating the gct.
mrce01.txt from the gecko code site.

i'm sure this is something simple. but this is gonna hang over my head until i get it right.
