This is the motherboard I use for testing screens.
A month ago it was just fine.
Now I just get black screens. The backlight is on.
Soon after that, things got worse. The console powers off after 2-3 seconds. And it doesn't power on again, unless I reinsert the battery.
And if I press the power button while the console is charging, the pmic get too hot to touch.
In a moment of panic, I removed the bottom screen connector, since it was replaced before.
I also replaced the BQ ic. Useless, since it was outputing power.
Next, I did the correct thing: measure voltages in the brief period the console was on. All main voltages are present.
After it shuts down, the 1.8v standby is only 0.8V.
I reflowed the pmic. It didn't help. I replaced the pmic and now the console powers on with a black screen and the backlight is on.
I used ntrboot + SafeB9Sinstaller. It said the installation was successful. If I start it again, it say "please wait to initialize" and stays that way forever.
Next I used hw test to test the ram. 0 zero errors.
I soldered back the bottom screen connector.
I followed the ctrtransfer guide from the 3dshacksguide, but I still get a black screen.

I got the error "sha file too small" It is because you need an older images. It took me a while to figure that out. I found the images on a korean site.
After that i got an error on a disware file.
After the script finishes and the console restarts: Black screen
I followd the ctrtransfer manual guide and i still have a black screen
And things got worse. if i remove the sd card, the blu led will stay only for a second and the console it will power off. with the sd card inserted, i still can access gm9.
