Alright so the grey smoooth thing over my circle pad came out randomly. Today I noticed that I could actually rotate it completely without coming back in place (which wasn't possible back then as after rotating it a few degrees, it went back). My guess is that it unglued or something.
I tried to just put it back but whenever I do, theres a side of the pad that can easily come out, no matter how I put it.

So my question is, what is the most efficient and cautious way to glue it back? Do I just superglue it or some shit. If so, should I just superglue the little buttons in the middle?

Nintendo will charge you 90$ to put it back on your best to just get a n3ds. i tried super gluing mine and it ended up feeling really messed up plus its a pain you need to be quick about getting it back on and all the folds around the pad

Why buy a whole new system just because of the circle pad being messed up? He could buy a replacement circle pad and just install that.

he would still have to glue it on or take the system apart and 90$ is not worth spending just to have a piece of rubber put back on.

Rock on without it.
Its a common problem.
You can try to glue it back on but it wont last long.

I don't need to open it up.

I can put it back easily, it just falls off quickly. I'll try superglue tomorrow.

good luck getting it on completely before the glue drys
That's why I practice by breaking into ppl's rooms while they have sex and finish before she dry

but yeah if that doesnt work ill clean the circle pad and try hot glue maybe

Sugru? It's a silicone glue/clay. You can make a homemade version with 100% silicone caulking and cornstarch. I just used it the other day to fix some free weights I had - the rubber parts had come off...
