hi. I just used this homebrew, and to my surprise, there are a lot of updates/dlc that I haven't got yet. I always thought I have the latest, but I'm simply using usb install and download the files when I see them available.

anyway, my question is, is there a way to simply auto update all the games installed and also add the DLC? is it possible using tinfoil?
thanks!

What does DLC binaries mean? I already have the DLC for some games but it still says there's binaries available
Nintendo updates DLC titles differently than they do base applications.
There isn't some seperate update that gets applied to the DLC, they instead host newer binaries of the DLC with a higher version.

The New DLC Binaries section is just telling you that; for these DLC you currently have installed, there are newer binaries that are available/being hosted.

I have the latest version 1.5.4 but the soft tells me that there are DLCs that I have not installed but instead they are already installed.
Will it be a bug?
the game is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
attached the file that saves me on the SD card, thank you very much.

See this issue about these titles.
TL;DR It's not a bug, those are DLCs indexed on the CDN but they're unreleased.

Hi !
I've got version 1.5.4 and the latest versions.txt.
The offline analysis results is no new updates available, no new DLC binaries available and no available DLC not Installed.

There seems to be some problems :
Some examples
I've got Super Smash Bros Ultimate 01006A800016E800 v1441792. Latest version is 1769472.
Monster Hunter Rise 0100B04011742800 v720896. Latest version is 1179648.
Metroid Dread 010093801237C800 v65536. Latest version is 327680.

I don't know why it doesn't work for me.

That's odd, would you mind running the application again with the latest versions.txt from nx-versions?
I just updated it the other day.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/16BitWonder/nx-versions/master/versions.txt

If the issue is still present please enable logging, run the application and then post your produced log file, Available-Updates.txt and versions.txt.
This explains how to enable logging, note that it'll run slower while active:

Thank you.
It's OK now.

I think it was a problem with copy/paste from your list to a new versions.txt file on Windows.
I had a 365 ko file and your file is 382 ko.
I directly download from your website and now Available-Updates.txt is OK.

Yesterday I started a discussion here https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-noob-paradise-ask-questions-here.488277/page-1629#post-9827890 that goes up to post #32,577 if you care to take a look about the need or not of updating/unlocking DLCs with specific files different from the ones you use to update your base game in order to keep the DLCs up to date.

Since you seem more knowledge of the situation I hope you can shed some light on it.
To put it shortly the questions are:

1) When using a 'DLC unlocker' is it needed to use a new updated 'DLC unlocker' every time a new version of the same DLC comes out or a regular game update will simultaneously update the main game and the DLC to its latest version?

2) There are cases where instead of an 'unlocker' a full fledged DLC file is released instead which I imagine happens when the DLC content is not already embedded in the base game waiting to be unlocked or will not come attached later on in a new game update (unlike what appears to happen when you use a 'DLC unlocker' as described above).
Same question here, will new regular game updates keep the DLCs up to date in this situation or only a new updated DLC file will do that?

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
