it's not a physical copy. he got it from eshop (and it wasn't available at that time, unless you got the ticket) so that means he has that "special NUS access" he's talking about. He even had FFEX before it came out. https://twitter.com/Cellenseres/status/687942142367510528

But how do you know he got it from the eShop? For all we know he could just be saying that. I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just pointing out the possibility

because you can download eShop titles cia's you own with your ticket.db.

you realize you don't need a ticket to download from nus right? little tweeks to "cdnto3ds" can make it download any game easily just saying

That's not my point. He SAYS that he used a special ticket.db. The point I'm trying to make is there's no definitive proof that he actually did that

Always ending up on chinese websites when searching about that haha. I think i'm kinda lost. Isn't NUSGRABBER supposed to download "public" software, and not games, etc ?

You can't get a ticket with a titlekey without passing through the eShop purchase process via ninja. Only exceptions are the cetk.

They are arguing about that guy getting the game an hour early via CDN or something, It can be done on WiiU/PSP/PS3 so IDK why it's so special that someone figured it out for 3DS.
(Can also be done for PS4/Vita but good luck decrypting those packages)
