Quick question. Is the Wii remote capable of sending a rumble signal through the Nunchuck port? I always wondered why we never got rumble capable classic controllers.

No, official wiimotes can't do this.

Nyko made several accessories with extra terminals on the connector called Trans-Port. I have their Wand+ (wiimote+) and rumbling Kama (nunchuk). They also made gun grips (Pistol Grip) with swappable electrical A & B rather than relying on plastic parts to press the wiimote's buttons (as in their Perfect Shot and any other wii gun grip). But these functions only work if used with Nyko's Wand with the extra contacts in the accessory socket.

How do you like the addition of the rumble in the kama nunchuck? Does it make a meaningful improvement in games, in your opinion?

I like having both sides of the 'controller' rumble. I wouldn't go as far as 'meaningful' - it's still pretty feeble, and obviously no Wii game is programmed to give distinct left and right rumbles, so it's not giving any additional informative feedback. Actually the main difference with the Kama (at least the later, wireless or wired+rumble versions - their original one was pretty much 1:1 with the Nintendo version and got withdrawn for plagiarism!) is that it is a bit bulkier and with a circular rather than octagonal stick gate (until you file appropriate notches…).
