Anyone else having the problem with their nunchucks constantly detecting motion input?

I realized this while playing Pikmin 3 with Wii Remote + Nunchuck control scheme. Whenever I'm in that control scheme, my Alpha/Britanny/Charlie just keeps blowing his/her stupid whistle and doing a jump to dismiss the squad. I have to play with the gamepad/pro controller because of this.

Is there any way to fix the nunchuck other than getting a new one? Thanks!

If the accelerometer is busted (I think there's a Wii or PC software to see the actual numbers it outputs) you can either buy a new official Nunchuck for 20 dollars... or spend more on a new accelerometer and Tiny Soldering(tm), or of course buy used :)
