Hardware NTSC Wii on PAL TV

Basically, the cable that came with their Wii (Yellow, red, white and SCART adaptor) doesn't work, what cable would they need in order for it to work?

What? You do know SCART is a virtually non-existent format in NTSC regions, right?

Well its an NTSC Wii but we bought it from ebay in UK so the guy we bought it from probably got a scart adaptor. Anyway it comes up in black and white, any idea how to fix it? I was thinking of changing the firmware inside to European but that might be too extreme

Correct me if im wrong, but I think you need a tv that can display NTSC.

if u have any region changer, load it up, then change the video mode to PAL
