Hacking NTRboot troubleshooting

So I was about to boot the SafeB9Installer through ntrboot. I put the on the B button. I hold Start,Select and X then I pressed the power. After I pressed the power button, I let it go then hold the key combo for a few seconds. After a few seconds, I also let it go then it turns off. I kept on doing it for a couple of tries and the result is still the same. Am I doing something wrong here?

turn on your console and make sure that your magnet makes it go sleep mode
