Is NTFS really that much slower than EXT3 when it comes to the xk3y? i'm thinking of reformatting my 4TB drive to NTFS just to make life easier (its currently ext3) when transferring files and such, any input would be appreciated :)

EXT3 has a bit less overhead than NTFS. If that's a concern, you might want to consider EXT2, then. Yeah, you'll miss out on journally, but if you're not writing to it that often, then it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Either way, the performance boost will be minor.

Guys, I need to format a new drive for my xkey (old one died on me) but the Xk3y forums are no more.
There was a guide in there for formatting and managing ext2/3/4 disks in windows.
I can't for the life of me remember the apps that were used apart from ext2fsd for mounting (and I can't even remember the settings needed for it) but my main issue was that if I remember correctly you had to either format to ext2 from a linux installation or with an specific program cause not all of them worked on xkey...
Can someone help me?
And yeah, I prefer ext2 because of the stuttering on some cutscenes. That dissapeared as soon as I made the change from NTFS.
