Hey,

Just modded today, running latest firmware - followed the NH Switch Guide but I think I must be missing something when trying to install nsp's. I'm using lithium and goldleaf and tinfoil won't even open.
Did I miss something about patches? When I install via usb through lithium, the nsp installs but then the game is just a blank tile on the homescreen with a spinning circle, same if i split the file and place it on sd card manually - I can delete through settings.
I managed to install one game through goldleaf but nothing else will work on goldleaf or lithium. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance guys (apologies if this should be in noobs)

If you're using fusee-primary, make sure you are using these patches.

Thanks for the reply - the instructions I followed use fusee-secondary. From you message I found instructions for using primary so switched the .bin files over and replaced the hekate_ipl.ini with a new one but then the option to boot from atmosphere fss0 emummc was gone, I only had 'atmosphere' or 'system' - is that ok to do? Sorry I'm lost. Probably need to follow up some more tutorials.

You have to configure Atmosphere to boot emuMMC.

Also, why are you using an emuMMC?

Should I not use emummc? I followed a link from here to a guide to install cfw and that's what it suggested. I can't post the link to the guide as I'm new...any better guides you'd suggest?

If you aren't using online play, and your Switch is RCM exploitable, there's not much of a reason to use an emuMMC.

Ok - so thanks a bunch, formatted sd - started again but using fusee-primary and all is good in the world. Can i just restart into stock firmware link my account and to play online?

If you want to play online, you should restore a clean NAND backup and make an emuNAND for offline hackery.

In the meantime, while using your sysNAND with CFW, you should keep the system offline (or better yet, install 90DNS or Incognito) to avoid a ban.
