I have found another error in the newest version (v1.2.8).

I believe it is related to file name or metadata encoding.

You are right.
The Problem is the name.

Can you tell me what you did? (Think you pressed Rename but there is no Status)
I tested with the same files i can see on your screenshot
With NSWDB naming and without
No error if i try to rename.

But i also need the ID of the LAST FILE in list please
The Code goes from bottom to top.

NEW VERSION IS ONLINE
If you used NSWDB the error should be with this version

I tried again with 1.2.9 and it worked. I believe it is not a relevant error. If it happens again, I will report with more details.

Thank you for the good work. It is a very useful tool to keep you files organized.

Thank you. Nice to read there are some people who like my work.

Just updated the tool to an complete new level. ;-)

Not sure if anyone came across this bug, but it doesn't load files if there is only 1 nsp file in the folder. I can reproduce it every time. Basically, if I want to rename 1 file, I need to add another one into the folder.

I fix this Bug with the next release.

New Version is Online. Error is fixed many new options added

File is down:
file not found
the file is no longer available. for whatever reason...
Changed filehoster.

i like your work too.

do you think it could be possible to add some column when its dlc and add them as pattern for renaming
i was thinking about short game name (without the dcl name part) and short dcl name only (whitout the game name base) to have more option in renaming

in a other way i was prefering last version without tab but its just my own preference

at last i had a graphic artefact on the lef
as a blank layer -> see picture

The blank Layer is gone in the new actual version. ;-)
(You allways post error i still fixed :-)
It's the Textbox for Gamedescription if you use webdb.txt (i forgot to hide it if you dont have the Infos)

I don't understand what you want
Can you post an example ?

we column "name" : Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (USEU) Steampunk Pack

i would like 2 new columns and add them as pattern to have more option in renaming

"short name" : Steampunk Pack

"base name" : Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (USEU)

Ahhh Now i know what you want.
This is possible and easy to make but it wont work for many DLC
Often Game & DLC uses the same names. No extra Info
But let me play a little bit.
If i find an way to get Infos for most DLC i'll make it

@Largooo
Did many tests but i dont find a good way to name the DLC like you want.
There are to many DLC out with the same name like the game or a different name like
Atelier Lydie & Suelle / Atelier Lydie and Suelle......
So it's realy complicated to identify the part of the filename i have to remove and what is with DLC without own name?

Btw.: NEW VERSION IS ONLINE

Wanted to check the latest version, but your new host zippyshare is complete garbage. I don't feel like having to download a doc to pdf malware to download anything...

I dont know whats your problem.
Like most free services it opens a window with ...crappy adverts on the first click.
If i close this ... and click on the download button it downloads only nsp-rename.

I made an absolut free tool. 31725 Lines of code. Weeks of work. Everything made by one person in its free time. Every wish posted was implemented exept one of Largoo (The DLC Naming). Routines noone else had/has...
So find a better FREE and EASY to use hoster WITHOUT REGISTRATION and i use this.

Ignore the ingrates, zippyshare is one of the best free file sharing sites and your tool is pretty much setting the naming format standard for nsp files. I've seen it used in many locations around the web. Keeps my library nice and tidy! Keep up the great work.

One more comment, have you considered hosting this on github, that way people can submit issues and possibly help debug the code?
