git checkout worked, thank you both
I have checked my local README.md and it looks the good one (meaning it looks like the one in the dev branch), so that's good
Now I'm getting the following error:

Uncaught Error: Call to a member function format() on bool in /web/index.php:293\nStack trace:\n#0 /web/index.php(451): outputTitles(false)\n#1 {main}\n thrown in /web/index.php on line 293'

PHP version? apache version?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

This php is an intensive php when doing some jobs, so on some systems may be needed to increase ProxyTimeout value in apache config

PHP 5.6.11
Apache 2.4
Let me restart the server and play with the ProxyTimeout value, hang in there...

it worked!
I removed the folder, restarted the server, started back from the git command... and no timeout!
And you are right, there is one title with no release date.

proconsule, I do not know if this is implemented or not, but just in case you want to take a look.
one of the options is throwing an alert (attached)
everything else is working flawlessly!
