So.. I was thinking of getting a Switch 2 GCN controller, to be able to use a GCN controller without the annoyingness of the Wii U adaptor I use. Long cables, two USBs, etc.. I was under the impression this new controller would be much more handy, not for the Bluetooth feature but mostly that it'd be just one cable, so it's less cumbersome, and emulates the experience well

But.. apparently there's some weird thing going on with this controller in PC. so I suppose I should wait a bit longer and not pay 70 dollars for it just yet, since it seems it works now but emulating a Xbox 360 controller or something or whatever..?

No good method currently exists to use any Switch 2 controller on PC wirelessly. I also am not aware if there are alternatives to Steam for wired usage.

I am fine with wired, but it seems rather annoying having to use Steam just for the controller to work.

Thank you very much for your reply. So, the controller sort of works, it's just not plug and play, you need to use a third party thing.

Any updates? Would be really cool if you could release some kind of version of it. Why not open source it if you don't think you will end up finishing it?
