I'm trying to back up my Nintendo Switch Online save files to use them on real hardware and emulators. I used Checkpoint to extract the saves, the files are in .sram format, which can be easily converted using an online converter.

The thing is that the saves are organized in separate subfolders, each labeled with an ID instead of the actual game name (as I expected), and just named "cartridge.sram". But it's not the usual ID that there's in the cartridge label or any other databse, which makes it difficult to me to tell which save belongs to which game, since I haven't found a list of these IDs for NSO.

The only way I've been able to identify some games is if there's a save state, which also includes a screenshot. And since I haven't been subscribed to the online since 2023, I can't do that anymore.

This is the Game Boy NSO directory. From what I understand:

1750265262992.png
  • "D-" for Game Boy (DMG),
  • "C-" for GBC.
  • "N-" for N64,
  • "A-" for GBA.
  • "S-" for SNES.
  • "M-" for Sega.
  • NES seems to be organized in the same way as the NES Classic.
So far, I've only identified:
  • (D-5661_e) Kirby’s Dream Land
  • (D-8212_e) Kirby’s Dream Land 2
  • (C-3191_e) Pokémon Trading Card.
  • (A-7311_e) Mario & Luigi Superstar
  • (S-2003_e) Breath of Fire
  • (S-2004_e) Demon's Crest
  • (S-2055_e) Donkey Kong Country
  • (S-2006_e) Joe & Mac
  • (S-2008_e) Kirby Dream Land 3
  • (S-2029_e) Kirby Super Star
  • (S-2011_e) Star Fox
  • (S-2033_e) Super Mario All Stars
  • (S-2017_e) Super Mario World
  • (S-2018_e) Super Metroid
  • (S-2024_e) Zelda A Link to the Past
  • (N-4868_e) Banjo Kazooie
  • (N-4631_e) Goldeneye
  • (N-3052_e) Kirby 64
  • (N-2992_e) Paper Mario
  • (N-4590_e) Pokémon Stadium
  • (N-3029_e) Sin & Punishment
  • (N-3031_e) Super Mario 64
  • (N-3038_e) Zelda Ocarina of Time
  • (N-1407_e) Zelda Majora's Mask
  • (M-9569_e) Beyond Oasis
  • (M-5017_e) Gunstar Heroes
  • (M-5033_e) Ristar
  • (M-5041_e) Sonic 2
There’s also a "system-save.json" file that contains gameplay data like playtime, playcount, custom order, etc, along with the game IDs. Like I said, I don't have the subscription right now so I'm not able to open the app and check each game on the list. And my backup saves are from October 2023, so I'm pretty sure something changed in the last two years.

If anyone have a database of the IDs of these game titles, I’d appreciate the help!

I'm pretty sure you can see these IDs with the CaVE Database Manager program. For example, I just checked and 1080º Snowboarding for the N64 has the ID of N-1653_e. Make sure to turn on "Show Stock Games" in the View tab, otherwise you won't see the official games.

Get the program here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/cave-da...n64-genesis-switch-online-modding-app.551466/
Thank you! I didn't know that software existed, that's exactly the kind of database I need for
