ROM Hack now im a noob!

hi guys

i moded a ds once but it was years ago before they released the dsi, iv forgotten how i did it and wonder whats changed since then...

can someone point me in the direction of the best tutorial?

also, am i right in thinking that its a specific r4 cart for the dsi? and not just the cheapest i can find?
