EDIT: I thought Normatt's GBA BIOS was made from scratch.

That does not make the binary hosted in this forum really legal or open source... I would be better off pirating the GBA BIOS in that case.

Technically, the project itself is legal and open source. It just leaves the copyrighted part up to the user. I see what you're saying though. Is the compiled BIN really kosher?

Not the project. I actually meant the precompiled binary that can be found on these forums.

Oh. So the https://github.com/Normmatt/gba_bios build does not really need a GBA BIOS dump.

The SHA-1 sum the https://github.com/Nebuleon/ReGBA/blob/master/README.md claims to have happens to be the same as the one I mentioned earlier.
